Perinatal Loss Service referrals

The Perinatal Loss Service offers a State-wide tertiary consultancy service to support health care professionals who provide clinical care to women experiencing perinatal and pregnancy loss.

A Perinatal Loss Clinic has been established at King Edwards Memorial Hospital (KEMH) to provide information and ongoing support for women and their families following the loss of their baby/babies. The team comprises of obstetricians, midwives, paediatricians, pastoral care, social workers, perinatal pathologists and psychologists.

The clinic is held fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon in the Centenary Clinic, KEMH. It is booked for approximately 6-8 weeks post-delivery.

For more information contact the Perinatal Loss Midwife Coordinator on the mobile phone number above. It may be necessary to leave your name and number on a messaging service and have a return phone call.
