GP information for maternity patients

My pregnant patient has tested positive for COVID19, what do I do?

It is important that you let us know when your Maternity patient who is booked to KEMH or OPH is diagnosed with COVID-19, either from PCR or RAT.

Please call 0479 170 538 to provide details of COVID positive maternity patients. You can also request advice from our COVID-19 team.

Advising us early helps us inform maternity patients what additional care they may need.

If your pregnant patient is booked to deliver at another maternity service, please contact the maternity service directly to let them know of the positive result and any clinical concerns you may have.
