Regular cervical screening (Pap smears), every two years play an important role in preventing cervical cancer because detecting early cell changes means you can treat it quickly and easily before cancer develops.

King Edward Memorial Hospital provides care for over 5,000 patients with gynaecological conditions, including cancer, each year and offers a wide range of services provided by a team of highly skilled staff including gynaecologic oncologists, nurses, allied health professionals and support staff.
