Nursing and Midwifery - Mandatory training framework and checklists

WNHS nurses and midwives are required to provide a copy of the PDR documentation on an annual basis at compulsory in-service. Information about our PDR process and the current PDR template is available on the professional development review (PDR) page.

The PDR document is suitable for all levels of nursing and midwifery staff, you should provide both documents:

• PDR meeting notification (front page), competency review (if applicable)
• Mandatory training checklist

New staff checklist

The new staff checklist can be updated by local areas to include area specific requirements. The mandatory activities sections should not be changed.
